Dr. Ara Deukmedjian: Good morning. February 11th, 2026. I’m Dr. Deukmedjian here at the Deuk Spine Institute. Our patient is a nurse. She suffered with hip pain for about 8 to 10 years — it’s gotten really bad lately. She saw an orthopedic surgeon who said she had degenerative joint disease of the right hip, really bad arthritis, bone on bone, and he told her she needed a hip replacement. I had to let all of that stop. My core was very, very strengthened, and then I lost everything. The pain was so, so bad. It was debilitating. And now I am walking. My gait is normal.
