A revolutionary 4-step procedure performed in approximately 20 minutes per disc, through an incision smaller than a dime.
Precision Access
The procedure begins with an incision smaller than a dime, just 7 millimeters for lumbar discs and 4 millimeters for cervical discs. Through this minimal opening, a cylindrical dilator gently separates muscle tissue, creating a precise pathway to your damaged disc. A tubular retractor slides over the dilator and positions directly into the affected disc. The entire annular tear in the disc where your herniation originates becomes accessible through this narrow, protective tube.
Endoscopic Visualization
An endoscopic camera enters the retractor, giving your surgeon crystal-clear visualization to guide the laser with millimeter precision. This approach protects surrounding bones and tissues, a stark contrast to the collateral damage caused by traditional fusions, microdiscectomy, and artificial disc procedures.
Holmium YAG Laser Treatment
The Holmium YAG laser targets only the inflamed, pain-generating tissue within your disc. Under precise endoscopic guidance, the laser removes damaged disc material, specifically the torn annular fibers and herniated nucleus pulposus causing your suffering.
