Giving back is an essential ingredient of today’s successful medical practice. At Deuk Spine Institute we have created a private nonprofit foundation – Deuk Spine Foundation – to promote two fundamental missions: education and research in a focused effort to better understand the causes and treatments of back and neck pain.
Deuk Spine Foundation exists for the honorable purpose of advancing spinal research and to provide a forum for public education on state-of-the-art treatments for diseases of the spine.
Diseases of the spine are common and frequently cause pain or neurological dysfunction that interferes with the daily life of millions. The incidence of spinal degenerative conditions is on the rise and without adequate research or public awareness, people like you or your loved ones will suffer needlessly. New technologies hold the key to safer and more effective treatments. Your contribution will help the scientists and physicians at Deuk Spine Institute unlock the knowledge to practice better medicine for generations.

Educating the public about the causes and treatment of spinal conditions paired with clinical research to test the options of treatment against worldwide registries of outcome data becomes a powerful mission in the quest to identify the best solutions for tomorrow’s spine care today.
The foundation sponsors seminars, student projects, senior center discussion groups, scholarships, science fair awards, adult outreach initiatives and an array of educational efforts to raise the awareness of the human toll of back and neck pain the path back to a healthy and more natural, painless lifestyle through therapy, interventional pain management and, if necessary, surgery.
Research
Comparing outcomes of Deuk Laser Disc Repair to surgery results from other minimally invasive and traditional open back surgeries, through statistical analyses worldwide, allows continuous refinement of Deuk Spine processes and empirical evidence of improvements offered by the pioneering procedures of Deuk Laser Disc Repair.
