Plantar Fasciitis
This condition is one of the most common causes of heel pain. It involves inflammation of a thick band of tissue that runs across the bottom of your foot and connects your heel bone to your toes.
Plantar fasciitis commonly causes stabbing pain that usually occurs with your first steps in the morning. As you get up and move, the pain normally decreases, but it might return after long periods of standing or when you stand up after sitting.
Common treatments include physical therapy, bracing or splinting the involved foot, or local steroid injections to relieve the inflammation.
If you suffer from plantar fasciitis, Deuk Spine Institute is here to help. Our patient services team is standing by to answer any questions you have and help you book an appointment. Give us a call at (321) 255-6670 or fill out the form below and get started towards living a pain-free life!
