Surgery Center of Viera, Ambulatory Surgery Center

Nurse Manager/ Director of Nursing Encourages and leads a team environment where all staff works to provide the best patient experience possible. Maintains all federal, state and county guidelines and regulations while overseeing staff compliance both clinically and administratively for Surgery Center of Viera. Provides assistance to physicians in delivering healthcare. Ensures appropriate nursing direction and staffing needs are met for all patients in accordance with recognized standards of practice. Provides continuous education and serves as a mentor to clinical and support staff and new hires. Oversees inventory control and supply ordering. Communicates effectively with all staff and management and demonstrates positive problem solving skills. Manages both staff and processes. Work flow average 75% administrative 25% hands clinical. Promotes the mission, vision and values of the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years experience managing staff and processes in OR, Pre-op, PACU and/or circulating required
  • Hands on experience in ASC setting preferred
  • Must be Florida licensed RN or obtain pre-hire required
